Beliefwork in dreams! The adventures of Guust Flater
Dreams are such a wonderful piece of art to uncover beliefs! This morning I woke up with what I can only call a gem from my dreaming self that speaks in no unclear language, depicts a belief of mine so precisely. I am speechless observing the endless creativity combined with actual benefits. Very practical at that! This observation in itself should losen the firm grip the belief has had on me for years.
Creativity isn’t a waste, isn’t some kind of bastard child of my consciousness to be cuffed in order to “succeed and function as a responsible, valuable individual”. Quite contrary to what I thought and still sometimes (often) think as my dream made crystal clear:

A journey of a dream-archeologist
This morning I awoke from a dream and its interpretation was so clear to me that I love to share with you all the process of interpreting this particular dream
and what its content taught me. The satisfaction I feel now reminds me of my
childhood, it’s the same feeling that arose whenever I would fit the last piece
of the beautiful “unesco”puzzle where it belonged.

I like to see this song as a conversation between my present moment self and me.... my present moment self giving me sound advice.... I would change one sentence into this: "Isn't it love FOR this life that you need."

Stepping into another persons shoes.....
Very, very often during the last few years I’ve questioned the validity of my adventures in
consciousness, at times pondering if I was not just becoming a nutcase,
believing things that would in yet another speck of existence get me
into a asylum. I've often pondered how so called "channeling" works, I rather call these kind of explorations "improvisations in consciousness" that term suits my own explorations better. My dreamexperiences are giving me my own answers to that question.....and suprisingly waking-state movies help me to describe these experiences to other people. I've had a particular form of lucid dreams that I will call "peeking along"dreams. Dreams where I literally step into the shoes of another.
The movie Being John Malkovich depicts what happens in those dreams so exactly that I was totally flabbergasted while watching it. In that particular movie, the script written by the creative Charlie Kaufman, people “peek along” with actor John Malkovich. Luckily my adventures never end being ditched at the side of some road in the middle of nowhere and I don't have to crawl through strange doorways in even more bizarre floors to peek along as is depicted in the movie. Somehow many of Charlie Kaufman’s scripts and the interpretations given by different
directors (in this case Spike Jonze, in the case of Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind ,Michel Gondry) depict situations as how I experience them in the lucid dream
state more clearly than any work of art ever did to my opinion.I find myself “inside”the body of another, my consciousness fully there, along with the perspective of this individual. This individual does not have to be aware of my consciousness while I peek along. I hear both the thoughts of this person and mine, mine are not interfering, the person is
simply not picking up on them.
What is most important during those dreams is that:
1) I have my own conscious awareness
2) I can observe the persons thoughts
3) I can observe my own
4) I can observe myself observing my own thoughts
5) And most importantly: I know that I am “really”there, that I am real at that moment, peeking along even though my presence might not be noticed by that other person. -
The slideshow of experiences
Throughout centuries mankind has tried to come up with a framework that helps in structuring the very vivid experiences people can encounter during their life. Experiences where they perceive memories, experiences - you name it- that seem to be located outside their usual time and space perceptions. A very popular idea to give it a place is the notion of reincarnation. Where a person goes through cycles of many different lifetimes from one life to the next and evolves in a certain way.

- Hi Geoffrey, The closest I went was 5-6 hours at night plus a 40 minute nap.
