Hi All.

Debs… you’ll get ‘m sorted out, those physical manifestations you’re getting. Though don’t think it so strange you are manifesting them, I mean considering, guess anyone would be a bit off balance …

Right now I’m stuffing my face with a second! chocolate bar (filled with hazelnuts). Need I say more? LoL. Yeah, emotion food, bad news - but sooo wickedly delicious.

Yep – found you! LoL. I knew your last name coz its 'dutch' – so that’s always stayed with me. Lynda Dahl was the first I looked up on Facebook, as she runs Sethnet and coz I get her newsletter, but also because I’ve got her books. “She's always encouraging folks to friend her.” You know, I didn’t know that, and presumed I’d be imposing on her since she doesn’t actually know me – but when I saw you say that, I went over to ‘friend’ her right away. She’s already accepted too. Yay.

Hey Cyn, that Indian Pink … is one pretty looking flower. I know we’ve all got different perception as to colors, but to me, its definitely very PINK. Hard pink.

Speaking of ladybugs, did you know that they can bite you? Coincidence (which its not-of course) will have it today I was outside for a bit doing some stuff – its fine weather today tho’ winter, sun’s shining and its even warmish – and a ladybug decided to land on my leg, and stung me. Its painful actually, their sting or bite, whichever. And its not the first time either that I’ve gotten bitten by one. LoL. I won’t hurt them tho’, they’re too sweet an insect and like most of us soft-hearted girls here, I’ll rather rescue insects then hurt them. Even god-awful frogs! No that’s not an insect, I know. Just wondered off in my thinking. One thing I do dislike seeing though is how spiders deal with their prey. Its mean. And sometimes I’ll try to rescue insects that only just got trapped in their web. Which in turn is mean of me actually, coz I’m steeling away their food. Sigh. Nature is at times awfully complicated eh?!

Cats, funny creatures those. Remember little while back I mentioned that I’d attracted a stray cat? Anyway, since a couple of weeks there suddenly is another one (which makes two of them now) coming by for their daily food and milk. Sort of getting a bit freaked out by the idea there’ll be a third one shortly – or more. Don’t hope so. Bit too much that. LoL. Glad to report that I haven’t had another frogger in the house though. Yuck.

Mosswillow I’m not forgetting about you and your ordeal sweetheart! You’ve got email. (Mentioning this in case you don’t check your emails, LoL).

I see Max is doing a world tour. Greetings from the west here. Yep, we’re having lovely weather too! Haven’t we got anyone up North btw?? Can’t think of anyone just right now. See you’ve finally gotten around to buying and reading The Holographic Universe! Good on you. I enjoyed it too, tho’ honesty bids me to confess I still have yet to read half the book. Read too many books at the same time, and so some I get behind on, but I’ll catch up! Didn’t know Cara had read it too – must have missed a post somewhere along the line - Did I Cara? I seem to remember Silverlfow talking about the book, waiting for her turn to read it. Come up for a breath of air now and again will you, you’re working to hard.

Dinner’s almost ready, gotta go.

Keep Well ~ All.

Hi Cyn, Daniel, Debs, Ladybird, Max, Mosswillow,Multi, Silverflow and Sylvia
Sylvia....it was actually "The Convoluted Universe" that i was reading. Mosswillow was the one reading the "Holographic Universe". Your memory is fine, but Max has been hanging upside down for too long...Ha !
Ladybird ... you asked a while back about whether i had noticed any difference in moving my bed around and i cant decide as I dream all night anyway. BTW, please dont let the nasty "thing" that is on Sethspace make you sad. Hopefully it will go away. Ha !!

A photo for fellow insect lovers...this baby stick-insect was walking up my windowpane last week. So cute !

Hi y'all! Just wanted to pop in on this fine day and do some socializin'! I really need to do that more often, lol!

Deb, fortunatly, my cats have been trained to let momma sleep, they don't want to deal with me grouchy, lol! They let me get a cuppa coffee first, and Melitta is one of my faves btw! Like you, I save drowning insects, often bees! I realized when I was little, that if I fished them out of the pool, they would sometimes "come back to life" when they dried out. Heck, I'll even save flies, can't stand to see or feel anything suffer. I love that you provide a home for the bees, they need all the help they can get right now. There may be many plants called Indian Pink. That is the problem with common names, they can vary all over the world. This one has the botanical name of Silene laciniata major. I am on Facebook, but don't go there very often. As I was telling Silverflow, If I had more time to socialize, I would spend it here on Sethspace!

Syl, I have heard that some ladybugs bite, but the ones that are native here don't bite as adults. They do bite when they are larva tho! I have been bit many times. I have so many that I find them crawling on me on the way to work, crawling up my computer screen, etc. They start out tiny and work their way indoors, lol! I often have to save the larva from spiders, which is funny, cuz, I used to feed ants to spiders when I was little! I understand what you mean about taking a meal from them, but there are so many things for them to catch out there, I'm sure they won't starve.

Cara, I think that is what is called a walking stick here. They are good to have around, they eat the "bad" bugs! Such a cool pic, luv it dude!

I'll leave you with a pic of another favorite Calif. wildflower. This is Blue-eyed Grass, which isn't really a grass, but is a member of the Iris family. It is growing with some wild strawberries, yum! Botanical name Sisyrinchium bellum. Love ya lots, Cyn

… Know what Cara? I made exactly the same mistake a while ago when I told Max about the book. Mixed them up too!
Waddaya know … seems its getting to be one big Convoluted Holographic Universe out there. ~~
Ha ! LoL.

Here’s a little something for your reading delights kittycats.

“A question like ‘How big is Faerie?’ does not admit of a simple answer.
Faerie, after all, is not one land, one principality or dominion. Maps of Faerie are unreliable, and may not be depended upon.
We talk of the Kings and Queens of Faerie as we would speak of the Kings and Queens of England. But Faerie is bigger than England, as it is bigger than the world (for, since the dawn of time, each land that has been forced off the map by explorers and the brave going out and proving it wasn’t there has taken refuge in Faerie; so it is now, by the time that we come to write of it, a most huge place indeed, containing every manner of landscape and terrain). Here, truly, there be Dragons. Also gryphons, wyverns, hippogriffs, basilisks, and hydras. There are all manner of more familiar animals as well, cats affectionate and aloof, dogs noble and cowardly, wolves and foxes, eagles and bears."

… And Faeries, of course.

Isn’t it wonderfully magical?!
I just couldn’t help myself and just had to share this paragraph with you guys from a book I’m reading now.
(Stardust, Neil Gaiman)

Keep Well.
