Hi Ladybird
Lovely fairy-wishes gratefully received! I've given myself an awful cold/cough this week so bad I've had to take two days off work, so I'm feeling very sorry for myself at the moment. This is the first cold I've had in two years! Suppose I shouldn't complain really.
Yes, this northern kitty is wrapping up warm because we've had our first sprinkling of snow today with the forecast of worse to come. It takes very little snow to grind this city to a standstill, and yet there is far worse snow in other countries and it doesn't stop their world...don't understand
Ok I've finally come round to the idea of Xmas again. All it took was hearing Santa being interviewed on the local radio station this morning (the presenter was brilliant but he does have two little girls), then later seeing a little girl of about four years (all in pink of course) looking up wide eyed as her mum's friend asked her about Santa...awwww!! Ok I'm getting the magic back!!
Love, Max
G'day sweet Max!
sorry I missed this post of yours earlier and sorry to hear you is under the weather with an awful cold/cough...you take care of yourself and I am sending lots of loving healing energies for a speedy recovery...I always find hot lemon honey drinks work wonders...
as for the snow maybe kenny has some to post of snowy Vermont by now...that would be a nice treat wouldn't it! Sounds like even with a cold you have that Christmas feeling...my weakness is fairylights...
So today has been full on...went out for lunch with my mum but a few of the restaurants we stopped at were tooooo busy...nice drive tho' ....so we ended up having a frozen real fruit yoghurt icecream at this little strawberry shack...I had boysenberry while my mum had passionfruit...I have to go back and try lychee (I have had feijoa before from there and that was really delish too)...then after that we stopped off at a sushi place...that was really nice then a little later we had a trim cappuccinno and we also fitted in a walk at the botanical gardens where I fed ducks and a goose...I love it when they eat right out of your hand...its such a wonderful feeling...
