TOPIC: Haiku Anyone?

Haiku Anyone? 1 year, 5 months ago #4034

Haiku (and varying styles such as Senryu, Tanka, Gogyohka) and other micropoetry are my daily writing passion. Care to share your favourite spiritual haiku?

Here are two of my personal favs:

the how is divine
delicious the magic of
precious unfolding

*******

intuition plays
gently on the strings of heart
music of the soul

There are several wonderful poets here; although I appreciate their work, I'm generally not among them. I'm sure someone will jump in, though!

Love,
Mike.

Thanks, Mike!

I'll keep watching for others who may indicate an interest ... and I'll likely post another poem or two to give folks an idea and feel for the fun and simplicity of this style of verse.

Marcia

Cyn,

How delightful! Is this one recently written or does it have a particular memory for you? I adore ravens ... and especially at the Grand Canyon where I met my very first...

Thank you for sharing!

Marcia

Hi Marcia! I actually wrote it just before posting it. You are up late tonight eh? I love ravens too, because no other bird seems to have quite as much joy in flight. I am always in awe of their beauty and grace. There are usually a pair of them, and it really does look like a dance. We love to drive the canyons and marvel at them. If I could be any kind of bird.....!
Love, Cyn
