Hi Marcia.
I’ll jump in, with a Gogyohka. Hope you don't mind?

sweet child innocent
feet
dangling in the stream
white pigeon
cradling her lap

butterfly resting
upon the hand
of the clock
timeless at twelve
I remain

OK, I'll take a stab. (This is new to me so don't laugh too hard!)

Lawn mowed, Greybear sits.
Doxie there by his side.
Soon both softly snore.

Cooling unit die
Blazing sun will not relent
Mighty oak shade me

Ah, Sylvia ... gogyohka is relatively new to me and has become one of my favourite forms of verse and micropoetry. I don't need to count out syllables on my fingers when in the coffee shops where I do much of my writing, and each of the five lines is designed by the breath ... one breath for each line spoken ... it exudes such emotion ...

Thank you for sharing these lovely verses with us all! More please!

In Light and Laughter,

Marcia

Lloyd,

You may never have done this before yet you are such a natural!!!!!!! I can so feel the heat of the sun, the shade of Grandmother Oak and sense the softness of the gentle snoring as you rest ...

Bless you for sharing and I hope you'll grant us more ...

In Light and Laughter,

Marcia

Cyn,

Thank you for the return message and the pic! Ravens wings have the most incredible colour variation and vibrancy to them! And I adore their fascination with anything shiny! What an intelligence! An excellent choice of bird to want to be ... and yet, for me, it is the owl that draws me ... particularly the silent snowy ...

In Light and Laughter,

Marcia
