TOPIC: Composers and Creativity

"it's like a foggy field"

..All That Is seemingly separates portions of itself from itself, scattering its omnipotence into new patterns of being that, in your terms, remember their source and look back to it longingly, while still glorifying in the unique individuality that is their own. Page 232, The Nature of Personal Reality

All That Is vibrates with desire. The denial of desire will bring you only listlessness. Those who deny desire are the most smitten by it. page 219 The Nature of the Psyche

John Adams

There are certain characteristic inherent in energy itself, quite aside from any that you ascribe to it, since of course to date you do not consider energy conscious. Energy is above all things infinitely creative, innovative, original. Energy is imaginative .
I am not assigning human traits to energy. Instead, your human traits are the result of energy's characteristics - a rather important difference.
Dreams, "Evolution", and Value Fulfillment, Volume 1 Chapter 2, In the Beginning

"..I am pleased with what I did..I did a piece which was largely reflective.."

Seth mentioned that beauty triggers use of the inner senses and that music is the least camouflaged of all the arts. It's fascinating for me to think of music as being bi-dimensional or inter-dimensional and how it stimulates others to use their inner senses, however conscious or unconscious of that they are.

I am a singer/song-composer and find Seth's ideas most helpful over the years in creating songs and advancing my musical abilities. I remain open to Seth's ideas that I can connect to other composers and those with knowledge I am interested in and receive knowledge and guidance that way. Often when I am stuck, I ask for help in this manner.

My voice used to be rather thin sounding but I kept on trying to create warmth and uniqueness. It wasn't until my early thirties that I succeeded in doing that. When I was a teen, I was told to just give up singing as my voice was not lovely and I was wasting my time!

I have finally learned enough of the complexities of audio engineering, software, hardware, technical issues, galore, and been able to start recording the first of many completed songs of mine. I have about forty that are done and another forty that are close to completion. I have spent, on average, forty hours per song to just complete the music and lyrics. Arranging and recording are another matter!

I spent upwards of one hundred hours on "A Little Dream Of Blue". It induces alpha brain waves and creates a state where it is possible to sense the colour blue with other physical senses, even if only dimly.

Here is the link to the song:

"A Little Dream Of Blue"

Deep in rev'rie, worlds away--daydreams and stray dreams, dream as you like...

Time for a small dream: Time to be, time to see a little dream for you,
A little dream of blue.

Blue skies and blue storms...waves roll blue.
If you get too blue, dream anew,
Go traipsing and tripping and tra-la-la.

Time for a small dream: Time to be, time to see a little dream for you,
A little dream of blue.

Follow the wind, become the wind and be with your endless sky.
Rest for awhile, float on a cloud and feel the touch of blue,
Feel the sounds of blue.

Time changes dreaming with the moon--
Blue moon and me. Blue moonlit vistas...and I'm slowly turning blue.

Time for a small dream: Time to be, time to see a little dream for you,
A little dream of blue...
Blue...

How strange, I don't recall ever seeing this post, but I must have because. Insightful and personal, many thanks,
