Hi Cara! That is a terrific question. I think that Silverflow said it perfectly! Every atom has it's own conciousness, and carries with it the memory of all that it experiences being. Very cool indeed! For example, I once had a friend who was a son of the tribal chief, and he had the skin of a bear that they used in ceremony. Another tribal member was the one who hunted this bear, and I got from him the location of where it happened. That spring, we took her skin back to her home, and made a small ceremonial fire for her. It was a little difficult because it was snowing lightly, and it was hard to find any dry tinder, but I managed to get it going with a few dry oak leaves. Anyway, the reason for doing this was because I felt strongly that even though the spirit of the bear had moved on, every cell that made up the skin of that bear remembered living in the forest wild and free. It just felt right.

As for your question Jeffrey, yes, I am a donor. There are many who do believe that a new organ will give them new life. As long as they believe it, it will be true for them. There are also many people who don't understand the concepts that we do, and don't realize that they are creating what they experience. Are they to be penalized for not understanding things the way we do? When I am finished with my physical vehicle, I hope that it can benefit someone else, even if they have different beliefs. Not only that, but I am considering donating my body to science, which is difficult for me, as I'm a pretty modest person. Like my mother, I don't want any kind of services or memorials, and don't want to leave anyone to have to deal with remains. When my mom was in the hospital, her doctor came to with tears in his eyes, because he was so thankful to her. Yes, once I've moved on, I will be glad if anyone can use what remains behind.
Love, Cyn

Greetings All!
I recently heard the president of Rockefeller University (now retired from
that post)on Charlie Rose. He is a geneticist focusing in stem cell researc
These stem cells have the unique ability to morph into the type of cell of a
any part of the body, thereby avoiding dna mismatch rejection. The operative
word in your Seth quote Allen, is Belief--the belief separates us from from ourselves.
It is apparent to me that any belief that excludes our ability to regenerate isindeed limiting us to a lesser version of ourselves.
The belief that we cannot regerate limbs/organs has been so deeply held
in the mass consciousness of millenia that it must be held in our cellular
memory, and therefore requiring intense application of will and desire to
eliminate it from our body mind. And why would it not be true, since our
cells replecate themselves continuously--isn't regeneration part of the heal-
ing process, or is it merely replecation?
Speaking of cellular memory and units of consciousness, the professor emeritus (sp)above mentioned, said he is convinced that all organic life on
this plancet is nothing more than information managers--albeit very complex
information, citing examples of how atoms and cells gather information from
their environment, act on it an with each other.
atoms and cells gather information from their environment and use it to
interact with that environment and each other.
Well dear Cara, you've got my doller's worth, heh heh! Interesting thread
you started here!
Love,
Mosswillow

Hi Mosswillow, Cynergy ,Allen and Jeffrey
Hey Cynergy ... i agree with you on this and are happy to have my organs "harvested", but squeamish about being totally dissected in an impersonal, scientific way.
Hi Mosswillow ... in NOPR page 368 Seth says the following ... "Within the bounds of creaturehood certain things are possible and certain things are not. You cannot regenerate a limb, or grow a new one". Personally i think that as we become more conscious as a species , the need to would not arise.
Love Cara xo

I think you are right on Cara. It's amazing how we get all bound up with the word death. If you don't eat properly "you will die", if you smoke "you will die" on and on . Let's get real, we will die and so what, let's live right now and reflect in a another now when we die, what a trip that was.
Love,
Richard

And on the very next line of NOPR 368 Seth states.
You can cure yourself of an "un-curable" disease if your realize that your point of power is in the present.

@mosswillow:
any belief that excludes our ability to regenerate is indeed limiting us

I think in one of our simultaneous lives we must do a bit of house cleaning and set aside a whole slew of limiting beliefs to experience life as the heroic self. If we get rid of the belief that gravity is a constant we could actually fly. How about eyesight that can see into the infrared and ultraviolet frequencies? And my personal favorite...at will probability travel.

@All

I also remember Seth mentioning organs are conscious.

This was when he was talking about species of consciousness. At that time I was interested in the consciousness of atoms and how our scientists did not understand their behaviour too well.

Reading that at the time I suffered from dry feet (too much time on the Greek beaches). I realised I neglected my feet and decided to try and communicate to them that I will take more care in the future. The dry feet improved a lot. Not sure if the communicating helped but I hope so!

If my mortal end was due and someone asked me to donate say my Liver I may well do. I wouldn’t donate my eyes or face etc. Strangely being born Hindu (I’m not religious) – I’m still quite comfortable with cremation. I do see that as breaking with the physical body. Gosh .. I’m full of contradictions.
