If you think of time as being linear, then we have 'future' lives and 'past' lives. One of the basic concepts from Seth is that all time is simultaneous. Counterparts then are other aspects of your soul. They are not 'you' as you are not 'them', but you might think of them as other apples hanging on the same tree so to speak. As to references, there are two that immediately come to mind. One is
New World View; a mostly archived site right now as the owner Paul Helfrich is working on a book of Seth stuff, but there's a lot of information there if you look for it. The other is
Nirvikalpa which also has a lot of information. There are other sites as well, but these would be a good starting point. In all of this, however, remember Seth's own words:
