TOPIC: Recreating your past after physical death

Recreating your past after physical death 1 year, 4 months ago #5327

"An individual who has survived physical death can if he wishes recreate any portion of his own past as it was, changing his own actions within it if he so chooses. Such a procedure is usually a dead-end enterprise. The others involved are vivid hallucinations, and he may not realize this."

My question about this quote is as follows:
This text is - perhaps only seemingly - contradictive to another text which says that if you make the actual effort to psychologically change your past – which you can do in the present – this in ...its turn will influence your present and your future, and… others involved in that past will benefit from it.

How, btw, can a person survive physical death. Does this mean NDE or does Seth mean after physical death, although there cannot be a matter of "surviving", as we're talking about the immortal part of the person, are we not....?

Hi Katja, in your first Seth quote, Seth is talking about after one dies; in your comment below it you're talking about while living. The "physical life" probability field is alive and well as long as we're alive and well. When we exit physical life, that probability field is no longer part of our reality. Another one surrounds us instead, reflecting a whole other set of probabilities. It happens with all consciousness as they change focuses.(Lynda Madden Dahl's reply on FB)

This is somehow disappointing news, as generally speaking, people believe in the importance to put right the wrongs they have done to others while they are still in this life... and tha...t if they fail to do so, there is still the opportunity to do so after this life, like NDE implies. NDE witnesses remember, while being “on the other side” of being able to change their unfortunate experiences in their physical existence. Having learned just now, that the personalities involved really are hallucinations, what then is their purpose for trying to do so, do you think? Is there a purpose for "not realising that the others involved are vivid hallucinations?"

I guess that, after physical death, while focusing on another consciousness, these issues, that were after all part of the physical consciousness, are no longer valid. I mean, e.g. the identity that played the role of my neighbor in physical life, perhaps doesn’t remember or even care any longer that I did him wrong in this specific life…. Apart from this, didn’t we agree before we were born, to play out certain parts with certain people in the physical realm? This might – however falsely - imply that it is of no importance if we put right the wrongs we did to others before we die (because we agreed upon them, didn.t we?). I wonder how to look upon these considerations...

In my opinion, it is important to learn the meanings of the rights as opposed to the wrongs. Replaying a scenario after death in order to experience learning is of value to that personality and entity.

Also, all experiences are infinitely valid, regardless of whether we are physically alive or not.

Finally, if we performed a wrong to another, that person who was wronged agreed to be acted upon in that manner. Both can learn lessons from the challenge regardless of if we righted a wrong while both parties were alive.
Peace and Love,
...Jeffrey

Hoi Katja

Firstly I would say; please just look upon these considerations, as you feel like looking upon them! Follow your own gut feelings and intuitions on it. Never trade in what you feel in your deepest fibres of your being to be your feeling on the subject, for something that does not feel right to you after all - - no matter what. For there is always some core of ‘truth’ in your own gut feelings, so please don’t discount those, and yourself. You after all will experience your own afterlife exactly in the way you’ll choose or wish to, just as you are doing right now.

I understand that this could be ‘disappointing’ news somewhat though. However, try to remember that there’s also the concept that there are many you’s, and the same applies to your neighbour. In these other realities or realms, your perceived (in which the word perceived is a huge keyword) wrongdoings are ‘set right’, since those same experiences are being experienced again, (simultaneously) but in many different other and diverse ways, in which any one subject can be experienced in infinite ways. In some cases, perceived wrongdoings towards one and another, could also be an agreed upon ‘counterpart-action’, in which case the ‘wrongdoings’ are to one or another’s benefit is some way – also agreed upon.

Another concept which might help is that all experience, any experience, is just that. An experience. And that physical life, is about experience only. That we come here ‘to experience’. Even the most worst (in our eyes) experiences. And all experiences amount to the experience of emotions. Nothing more, nothing less. And no experience is either good or bad or wrong or right. Coz wrong or right are terms or definitions that exist as believes only, believes or words or associations by evaluations that we attach to experiences, in order to experience our experience to the fullest. Therefore, wrongdoings are a nonissue in the further away regions of afterlife – since wrongdoings are attachments or by-products which we cling to in physical live. For its only the experience that counts, for that enriches or expands your essence, so to speak. We just agree with others beforehand to have certain experiences, in order to gain that experience – as this will benefit all parties involved within the agreements.

In the case of NDE reports, which are valid, (and in which I’m also interested as there’s more to life than just Seth), the dead guys would probably comment that ‘this is what they believed in, these scenario’s are what they had as their believes. And what you deep down believe, is what you will manifest, in whatever dimensional reality you are in. Hallucinations too are valid experiences. I wouldn’t take that word hallucination too literal. For they are true and real images- - in that moment. Just like our lives and what we now experience, are valid ‘hallucinations’. As soon as we just shift our consciousness just a tiny little bit sideways, or end up in some other reality, we suddenly will find ourselves in another “valid hallucination”, which in fact is just another ‘way’ of experiencing consciousness. But it’s never non valid, or not real. It is as real or valid or true, as we find it to be within our minds.

I know this does not answer your questions. I guess the all purpose of it would be to ‘expand’. Consciousness by nature has only one ‘goal’ and that is to expand its awareness. So not realising that others involved are vivid hallucinations, is just a ‘learning’ process. Like it’s the propelling driving force behind becoming aware more and more, it’s as a process if you will. And all roles played, will remain to be valid – will never become non valuable, as experience.

"An individual who has survived physical death can if he wishes recreate any portion of his own past as it was, changing his own actions within it if he so chooses. Such a procedure is usually a dead-end enterprise. The others involved are vivid hallucinations, and he may not realize this."
I’ve read a few of M. Newton’s books in which afterlife regression brought to the forefront what these people experienced in their after or in between life. Indeed one of the scenarios brought forward, were “projections or screens” upon which they could watch certain parts of their ‘recently’ lived lives. If they wished to, they could look at the same scenario, where an alternative action would have been played out, in effect changing ‘the past’ and ‘the future’ effects of that one lived life, thereby changing the whole scenario into a different one, to see what the effects would than have been. This whole new scenario would be just as valid and true – and would affect the present/future/past of all those involved in the life they just came from - and would in effect also change the ‘real lived life’ they themselves had just recently lived -- it would become the life they had lead. Any part of their lives could be altered in this way. Some even choose to ‘life psychical life’ via this way, instead of coming to earth to live it, because it would also be a valid and real way of experiencing physical life. Some would and could also “go back” and “relive’ parts of their life in that way. From what I read, not all of these enterprises were a dead-end but rather a productive end.
Now all the terms and words used in his books are somewhat different to the words Seth for instance uses on the same subjects. However, if you read behind the words, and if you read closely (from your gut), you’ll see he’s just describing the same thing that Seth is talking about.

Which you, which reality?

These are in short more or less just some of the numberless amount of concepts there are for what its worth – and I hope I at least made some sense because I tend to go sideways on subjects to give another approach or view on the matter - though my personal views on the matter might just be a tad different, and would take a book to write, and that I don’t feel like doing just now, least of all having to discuss them (intellectually). LoL.

With much regard, Syl.
Ps; I think that posting your post in the ‘beginners seth area’ is a bit of an understatement to your knowledge – for I’m guessing you are much more knowledgeable than that ~ LoL.

For as Seth tells us, the ego self doesn't do the literal creation; we throw out our intent to our inner self and it takes over ~

Hi All!

Interesting posts!

Seems to be very close to what I have been thinking lately.

My take: (Personal perspective and intuition at this point)

1. The Universe records every instance of every happening, no matter how trivial it might seem. This is variously referred to as the "Akashic Record"

2. The substance of this record is the PERCEPTION of the individual(s) who experience(d) the event (whatever is the focus of attention at the time). Note that it makes no difference what may have "actually" happened. It is the person's perception that is stored. Think of many witnesses to a robbery, etc. and the problems deriving "truth" from "eyewitnesses".

3. "Ghosts" and ourselves (e.g. Edmund Cayce) get information directly from these records. So when Seth says "Give me a minute" my take is that he is adjusting his view of the records. From where he exists, it is easier to extract information because he is "closer" to the energy fields.

4. What the records comprise is a view of mythology from the standpoint of the questioner or the seeker. Broad channels view a thread of stored mythology from a historical belief complex consistent with their audience at the time. So think of Seth rotating a kaleidoscope until the view corresponds with the belief systems of the "eye" (the questioners) that seek information.

On a more personal level, records exist that are within the energy complex of the individual. Sometimes called "memories". Our stored records of what we have perceived about ourselves or about a particular event or series of events. When we pass on, these "records" of ourselves are integrated into the total flow of the Akash.

5. These records can be changed at any time. Remember they are "Mythology" or "perception". You may remember Seth commenting in several writings about the fact that actual happenings are incidental; what is important is the Mythology that is assimilated and referenced to substantiate and legitimize human belief systems. Note that cultures re-write history continually. Historians modify historical "truth" all the time to influence desired changes in behaviour. We also manufacture solid objects of historical record to change history to read the way we want. There are lots of comments to this effect from Seth, Elias, etc.

6. What we do is create a version of reality that supports our individual intent. If it works out "well", we call it "good". If not. we call it "bad". If we want to change things, we re-assess and start again. The latest version of our "Myth" is retained in the Akash as we pass.

7. If we want to change the "past", we can journey through the personal Akash (our memories) and OBSERVE our created myth from our new perspective and at the same time adjust the "past" to be consistent with our "preferred" myth. We may do this consciously and/or unconsciously until we are satisfied with the result and then go on to something else. This is the way the "past" is integrated with our new direction. This is not being "untruthful" because all elements of our "past" (including other "people" and their reactions) are simply elements of the myth we are creating. It is all "ourselves" and we can change it at will - since we created it in the first place. (This might be termed "time travel".)

8. Now jump from the perspective of an individual "focus" or "spark" to that of the Greater Self who creates the drama that we are sent to experience. At some point, He(We) evaluate the combined myth created by all focuses and decide if the objectives have been met. If not, I see Him(Us) organizing another stab at it or going in a different direction.

9. My present perception is that after passing, our personal focus life history is at some point released and merged with the Akash and we do not create any longer on the material plane. However it appears to me that we may shift focus to another parallel and continue to create or perhaps observe until a full integration of all our various myths is accomplished. This would involve our "personal" Focus energy after separation being attached or associated with another aspect of ourselves or of a Focus energy we are interested in. I think perhaps this is a way that we integrate "past" lives and experiences and call upon their energies in this material focus.

Lloyd

ps - Sylvia - I hope I will read your "book" in this life or later!

I realize I am addressing this a bit late however I felt compelled to offer my point of view.
In my experience and training I have found that 'death' is actually an illusion. This term creates a misunderstanding of the eternal nature and essence of being. If there were ever a 'true death'(as described by our definition) then all would be over....an absence of Light.
All probabilities and all actions, exist now...simultaneously. It is a matter of awareness and perception....the actions of the observer. 'Death' is nothing more than 'turning the page.' We feel we have lost because we have not yet learned how to 'see.'
All that is exists now...in no space and no time...yet within all time and space. The idea of a corporeal existence is like a class room in which we have agreed on for learning purposes. At this point we are 'exposed' to energy that we must learn how to handle...manipulate in such a way that we find fulfillment. This fulfillment depends on our personal agenda....our personal path.
When we learn the lessons of a 'past action' we have, in effect, changed the past because our perception of it is altered and we have evolved.
The term 'lives' can be deceiving because there are no closed systems.
