today I had a sleep in until late...I had trouble getting to sleep last night but I think that was partly due to the heat...I ended up sleeping under the bedspread but on top of the summer quilt/sheets...found that much more comfy...I even had a dream this morning...it was very vivid and exciting at the time...the parts I do recall were quite sci-fi in nature...microchips were being implanted in peoples heads that made a person behave in an acceptable way...but then they malfunctioned and I knew that so I was resisting the implant and trying to escape...(I am sure this has deeper meaning but know not what) It was quite intense and there was much more detail but that escapes me currently...

Hi Ladybird, this probably won't surprise you very much, but when the weather is hot, I eat ice cream just before bed to cool off. Usually something involving chocolate, of course! That way, I'm cool enough to go to sleep. Your dream reminds me of one I had recently. I was kidnapped by a cult! They took me to their compound, but didn't search me. I had my cell phone in my pocket, and called the police. When they arrived, it turns out that they were in on the whole thing. I escaped, and hid in some bushes by the road. I used my cell phone to call for help and then woke up. It was very vivid! When do you leave for your trip?

I can tell you love your sweet treats...and that sounds like a very nice way of cooling off before bed...at the mo I have neopolitan icecream in the freezer...but the nicest flavour I have ever tried was at a mediterranean restaurant and it was homemade licorice icecream with persimmon slices...very very delish from memory...I also like fresh frozen fruit yoghurt icecream in a waffle cone...I had feijoa and lychee combo which was really nice as was strawberry or boysenberry...I wasn't that impressed with pineapple or banana tho'...here in New Zealand a fave is hokey pokey which is vanilla with crunchy caramel nuggets in it...very sweet...I also enjoy mint, rum & raisen, cassata, and even cooler is sorbet or gelato...not as creamy tho'...I think we may just have a sweet tooth in common sweet Cyn hehehe...As for your dream it does have similar components to mine...except I woke up before I had escaped...and I leave on the 4th March for my trip...not long to go now aye...

I am pleased to report that after my scary 'spiders' dream I am back to more enjoyable dreams...I try to enjoy my dream experience by spraying my pillow with a fragrance...be it lavender or rose...and by keeping warm (especially in the winter like now)...my recall is still not the best but I have decided that worrying about it is counter-productive...
