Hey, Excellent thread back and forth. SuzanneH, I will put Emir and use of magical powers on my list for sure. Madrea, that's funny about Seth being the other man in your life. It's interesting but I know exactly what you mean about fearing judgement from others. I've tried to talk to people about Seth who I think are ready or are open enough to at least consider it. My dad taught me about Seth and yet I had a strong curiosity for the truth and wanted to learn what he had to say.... the intent was there from the beginning. I've tried to teach my step siblings about such ideas and I have struggled because the intent is lacking. But it's definitely a good idea to start putting Seth ideas out there to think about, whether you mention Seth or not. The truth of the matter is that each person is here to live under a particular framework. When it comes to many of my friends, for example, I've come to believe that they are living in a framework that would never accept Seth, simply because they don't believe that a human could channel an entity such as Seth... it's a major hurdle of understanding, and a major belief system to overcome. My strategy has been this: to follow an individual's logical process. If you can start to make them break away at there own beliefs, then they are more likely to accept the idea of Seth. I try to argue that neither science or religion can fully explain all of the mysteries and questions of the universe. One question that sparks a lot of interest and debate is: What created the 'big bang' matter and energy, if that's how the universe started? Science hasn't been able to answer this. So I start with a very simplistic argument, that there has to be some kind of "God" but that this God is not the typical Christian God. This God has to be a part of the entire Universe, and we are but one small planet in one galazy of the universe... we as humans can't possibly comprehend the multidimensional nature of said God. I've had some success with that because it seems most people are somewhat agnostic, in that they don't KNOW but they have an intuitive instinct that there is more to life than meets the eye.
